We call for antifascist, autonomous, and anarchist participation in the demonstration against the digital militarization of the police in Berlin on June 13, 2026, starting at 2 PM at Warschauer Str./Marchlewskistr.!
Plans are underway to expand the use of AI-powered camera surveillance in Berlin.
This does not mean greater security; it means greater control. Every new surveillance technology strengthens the power of the state and its agencies while restricting everyone’s freedom. Surveillance does not create a just society—it breeds pressure to conform, mistrust, and fear; it is an expression of the increasingly authoritarian nature of the state! And the Nazis of the AfD are rubbing their hands in anticipation, hoping that future electoral successes will allow them to take over a police state equipped with every conceivable tool of control.
AI cameras analyze movements, behavior, and social interactions. What is marketed today as a measure against crime is now set to be used here in Berlin against political protests, marginalized groups, and ultimately against any dissenting opinions.
And no! This has long since ceased to be a “test phase”—as those in power repeatedly claim—as they prepare to install AI cameras as an extension of the police apparatus in areas they have designated as “danger zones,” such as Alexanderplatz, Rigaer Straße, or Görlitzer Park.
After all, they have long since tested and implemented their surveillance technology—not only at soccer matches, in supermarkets, at train stations and airports, or at the external borders of “Fortress Europe.” The murderous efficiency of AI surveillance and analysis has been—and continues to be—demonstrated to the global public through the ongoing genocide committed by the Israeli occupation army against the Palestinian population.
The only thing those in power are testing here is the public’s acceptance of surveillance. That is why we say: let us not be divided—let us resist together!
We stand for a world where people can move, organize, and live freely, without being constantly monitored and analyzed. We stand for a world free from exploitation, oppression, and war! Security comes from solidarity, social support, and self-determined communities—not from militarization, algorithms, police, and cameras.
That is why we are fighting not only against AI surveillance but for a world without relations of domination, without states and armies—and without police!
And that is why we call on you to actively participate in the demonstration on June 13th, starting at 2 PM at Warschauer Str./Marchlewski.
Against surveillance, the state, and repression.
For self-organization, solidarity, and a society free from domination.
Every broken camera is a good camera!
