Here\u2019s why we\u2019re fed up, and why you should be too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For years, the so-called Berlin Trans Pride has been betraying the roots of a pride march: an Intifada, a Riot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead, they have been playing vanilla politics, tokenizing black & global majority (BGM) people and calling it \u2018solidarity\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udcc6 About Recent Years
Last year, while claiming solidarity with Palestine, which they only did after being called-out for it, they condemned the Palestinian resistance, and invited a zionist to host the march.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The year before, they banned the Palestinian flag. Then they banned \u2018all national flags\u2019, trying to remain neutral during an ongoing genocide in Palestine \u2013 in the country arming and funding the genocide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u231b\ufe0f Why We\u2019re Fed Up
\u201cNeutrality\u201d is complicity.
Silence is violence.
No more pinkwashing.
We refuse to perform respectability for oppressors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trans BGMs have been fighting for years to be heard in white-centered spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, we stop fighting for a corner in their space…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We build our own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No begging.
No bargaining.
No sidelining our struggles or our siblings in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Berlin, Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Abya Yala, Haiti, Iran, Lebanon, Cuba, Venezuela, Yemen, everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
