31.03.2026, Trans* Day of Visibility – Demo, Mariannenplatz

+++ deutsch unterhalb +++ In the background of the poster a color gradient featuring the colors of the trans flag is visible. Overlaid on this is a black outline of a person in a comic-book style. At the bottom of the poster, the person’s head is visible, along with their arms stretched out into the air, on which a broken shackle can be seen. The person has fiery hair blowing up in the wind, which takes up a large portion of the poster and reaches almost to its top edge. The hair serves as a background for white text in capital letters. Der Text lautet „TRANS* DAY OF VISIBILITY“ und darunter „DEMONSTRATION 31 MARCH, 6PM MARIANNENPLATZ“

This Trans Day of Visibility, let’s be visible, let’s be loud, let’s be undeniable! ✊️🏳️‍⚧️

Let’s demonstrate on Tuesday 31st of March, starting at Mariannenplatz from 18h. We will march, we will be there for the speeches, we will show our talent, and we will have the opportunity to share what’s on our mind at an Open Mic.

After the demo, we will hang out at Schwester (at Bethaniendamm), where there will be food, performances and maybe a small art exhibition.

We recognize our shared struggles and the interconnectedness of our oppression around the world. This march stands firmly on the principles of anti-imperialism, anti-zionism and anti-racism.

We stand by the resistance as well as sex workers, addicts and prisoners, upholding Marsha P. Johnson’s words “No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us”.

So come join us in asserting our existence and making our presence undeniable on this Trans Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

Accessibility information for the hangout

The rooms are accessible via a few steps into the basement; on tdov we will set up a ramp there. The rooms are at ground level, except for a small floor elevation (approx. 1 cm) in the passageway to the bar. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible. There is a room with a bar and music and another large room with a stage and tables and workshops can take place. Both rooms have ventilation. There is also a wide corridor to the two rooms, which is quieter. Smoking is permitted at the bar, the large room with the stage is smoke-free. In general, the rooms are rather dark. If there is anything you don’t feel comfortable with or you need help with, please speak to the awareness team in the orange vests. If you have any further questions about barriers, please send us a message!
